I am a geochemist interested in redox and biogeochemical cycling. I have employed isotope measurements, spectroscopy, and reactive transport modeling to study the fate and transport of redox-active metals, such as uranium and chromium. Currently, I study how clay formation influences silicate weathering reactions and carbon cycling, which is applicable to enhanced rock weathering and global carbon models.
